My Familee
*
Hello my name is Alexa,
I really like to sleep.
I sleep all day long,
And then I sing songs.
Then I go for a ride in my jeep.
*
My sister's name is Kenzi,
She also likes to sleep.
She texts on her phone,
And she likes to paint stones.
Her soul is pure and deep.
*
My other sister is Abby,
She likes to eat burritos.
She loves to suck on candy,
As she says the word dandy.
She also lives on tostitos.
*
My older sister is Brynn,
She doesn't like to eat.
She's as skinny as a rail,
like a shovel not a pail.
She really doesn't like meat.
*
My brother-in-law is Mathew,
He really doesn't like sports.
He talks to his cat,
And goes by the name Matt.
He really likes to wear shorts.
*
My mother's name is Kristin,
She's addicted to cleaning.
She likes to work,
And she doesn't like jerks.
She has a beautiful face that is beaming.
*
Then there's my daddy, Monte,
He loves to watch football.
He yells at the T.V.,
And likes the name Didi.
He is really really tall.
*
My family is an interesting one,
We're really really loud.
We never shut up,
And like to drink out of cups.
If we could we would live on a cloud.
*
*
Wild Jubilee
(To the tune of Yankee Doodle)
*
Here I go running around
All throughout the junkyard.
Kicking things and screaming loud
And acting like a retard.
*
I run behind a car because
I think I hear a siren.
Running from the deputy
Is getting kinda tirin'.
*
Crap, I guess I'll just give up
And let the cop handcuff me.
It's kind of fun to go to jail
To see my best friend Rodney.

THE END!

Just Friends?

"Hey Becca this.........this is Tyler"

"Hey bud, it's about time that you called me back"

"Sorry, I know it took me forever. I was just calling to say.............to say that I love you!"

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, that was a good one. You almost got me there!"

"That was a good one? That was wasn't it. Well I was just wondering if you wanted to hang out tonight, maybe we could go to the movies."

"Sure, that would be fun. Pick me up at 7:00."

The dial tone came on before I even got to reply. I guess I will just tell her tonight at the movies. I would've told her on the phone...I think? All that keeps running through my mind is if she rejects me, OUCH! She's my best friend and I would rather only have her as that than nothing at all.

I honked the horn as I pulled into Becca's driveway at 7:00 sharp. Becca isn't one of those girls that likes to be fashionably late. She came running out as soon as she heard the honk. When she hopped into the car her scent slowly made its way to my nose. She started talking to me but all I did was shake my head and smile while I concentrated on her big brown eyes. I finally snapped out of it and was finally able to actually understand what she was saying. We had a nice "friendly" conversation the whole way to the movie.

When we arrived, I hopped out of the car to open the door for Becca. "Here you go my lady."

"Thank you sir, you are so kind." We walked into the movie, with me longing to grab her hand the whole way. of course, with me being my gentlemen self, I opened the theatre doors for her. We decided to go the newest movie, "Stomp the Yard". We sat in the movie theatre talking without stopping until the movie started. She stared at the screen the entire movie. I was about half and half, part of the time it was the screen, the other part was straight at her. The movie finally ended and I escorted her out to the car. I had been wanting to tell her my true feelings the whole night but just hadn't.

We again had a great conversation the whole night home. You see, Becca and I usually never shut up, even when it is completely necessary. After what only seemed like two minutes, we were in her driveway. She was just about to get out of the car when I grabbed her and totally spilled my guts. I told how I really liked her and how I hope she filled the same about me. I told her everything. When I was all done, she sat in her seat with a blank stare on her face. We sat in silence for a few minutes until she finally said something.

"I like you too, Tyler. I just haven't really admitted it to myself before. I guess I only thought you liked me as a friend." We sat in silence for a couple more minutes before we did anything. Finally, me being the man, I slowly moved my face closer to hers, silently hinting that I wanted to kiss Becca. She went along with me and before I knew it, our lips were touching. We kissed, and we kissed, and we kissed. But, you see there was no exchanging of saliva, only innocent kisses. I'll save the dirty stuff for next time. What? I'm a boy!

We're Just Friends?

"Mom, stop it! We're just friends and you know it."

"Uh huh, I'm sure!" My mom said with an intolerable amount of sarcasm in her voice.

"Even if we were, which we aren't, it would be none of your business anyway!"

"I'm your mother, of course it's my business, it's completely my business."

Not able to stand her nagging and teasing any longer, I ran up to my room to call my “just friend” Tyler. The phone rang seven times without an answer. After the eighth ring the answering machine came on..."Hey this is Tyler, you know what to do."

"Tyler, answer your phone! That is why you have one isn't it? My mom is in her teasing mood as usual and she bugging the crap out of me, so just call me back when you get this!”

Tyler never seems to answer his phone when I need him the most. But, then again that's Tyler, I've learned to deal with it. Tyler and I, Becca, have been best friends ever since I can remember. Both of our moms have this silly idea that we are more than friends. I actually get quite annoyed with it, if you can't already tell. We do everything together, he comes shopping with me, and I go and lift weights with him. We are kind of like two separate people joined together.

There have been a couple of times that I have considered taking our friendship to the next level, but when I do, I kind of makes me sick to my stomach. It's weird to think about actually kissing his lips. It would be nice to for once have a boyfriend that knows me as much as he does. Wait, what am I saying, I DON’T LIKE HIM! I'm sure he feels the same about me.

*************************************************************************************

"I always miss her call," I said to myself as I slammed my door. Becca, and I are just friends, unfortunately. I have had the biggest crush on her ever since I realized that girls really don't have cooties. She is any guys dream girl, hot, fun, and………..HOT! I'm just afraid to tell her how I really feel. For so long, I have pretended like I only like her as a friend when in reality I would do anything just hold her hand and kiss her on the cheek.

We always talk about how we have always been "just friends" and how weird it would be to be more than that. There have been so many times when I have wanted to tell her my true feelings, but just haven't had the guts to tell her. What if I told her and I ruined our friendship? What if I told her and she was mad at me for not telling her sooner? You know what; I'm going to take that chance anyway, because there is a little chance that she feels the same way about me. Next time she calls I’m going to tell her that..............that I love her!

To be continued........

Sleep, School, and More Sleep

School sucked this week. I was so exhausted that I couldn't even keep my eyes open. In fact, I fell asleep in Spanish twice this week. I HATE Spanish. I was so used to going to bed at 2:00 A.M. and waking up at noon. Why can't school just start later! I know that the teachers would enjoy a couple extra winks of sleep as well. Sleeping is my pride and joy, without it, let's just say I'm not the happiest person, to my family anyway. I got in trouble quite a bit this week. I'm just glad that it's a weekend and all I get to do is sleep, sleep, and do stupid homework.

Now let's talk about the pathetically large amount of homework we got this week. I don't think I have ever had so much homework, so much due, and so much going on in school in my life. Every night, guess what I was doing? You guessed right, homework! As most of you know......... I absolutely hate homework. I had to make this whole ABC book in geography and it took me all night! But then again, I guess that's my fault because I procrastinated! STUPID ME! But still, the amount of homework was totally, pathetically ridiculous.

I just plain out hated being at school. I was just wishing I was at home in bed or on the couch doing nothing but sitting on my butt. Or with my friends having a PARTAY! Why can't we just have school, three days a week? Just kidding, I already know the answer to that! So don't you all agree with me that school totally sucked this week, especially the waking up early part?

Let's talk a little bit more about sleeping since I love it and all. Imagine with me, if you will, lying in your bed sleeping peacefully. Then suddenly you wake up to the sound of that obnoxious, beeping alarm. If any of you are like me, you want to jump out of bed and chuck the d*** alarm clock out of the window. If you don't, you're strange! Or think about when you're really tired and you lay in bed, rolling around and soaking in all of the pleasure of just being in bed. You then fall asleep, and sleep the whole night, and even through your alarm clock. You wake up 30 minutes late and have no time to get ready for school. Therefore, you have an ugly day at school. Doesn't that suck! Well it sucks until you realize that you got and extra thirty minutes of precious sleep, and suddenly you're happy again. Sleep is good, so whenever you are having a bad day, just imagine sleeping and you will be happy again. Sleep is a magical invention that brings so much joy and happiness to people. If you take one good thing out of this rather crappy blog, just remember that sleep is a tender subject that you never talk bad about in front of me!
